SHIPPING PROCESS ON DRY GOODS/TERMS AND POLICY

Local delivery
We provide free local delivery for GTA (including York, Toronto, East York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, North York) can be placed through the website where you can select local delivery at checkout. Please note that delivery boundaries are calculated by postal code and as such delivery to certain areas may be unavailable. The minimum order for free delivery is $99.

Currently all other areas are available for free shipping over $150 (not include live animal or frozen). Please note that large and/or heavy items may incur surcharges or be available for in-store pickup only.
*Order minimums are considered before tax.

HEAVY WEIGHT OR OVERSIZED ITEM, REMOTE AREAS

For any extra weight or oversize on some of our products we do offer shipping across to Canada, however we are unable to offer these items under our normal shipping rates or the $150 free shipping rate, as these items are classified as Heavy Weight Items; they fall under their own specified shipping rates. These charges are calculated based on the weight of the product and the location you are shipping to. These rates are calculated prior to purchasing through any trusted postal service providers.

If your order falls under any one of these categories, you will be contact regarding the cost of shipping which will be billed to you once confirmation to proceed is complete.

It is important for our clients to provide a correct shipping address when placing their orders. In order to comply with ‘Buyer and Seller Protection Policies’, providing correct shipping address MUST be followed. Reptile Mart Inc. will not be responsible for any loss of any products or additional shipping costs incurred due to incorrect shipping address provided. If redirection of the package is required due to any errors which was not caused by Reptile Mart Inc.'s behalf then the customers will required to pay any additional fees to re deliver the package to its' final destination.

CANCELLING/CHANGING AN ORDER

Any order which has been placed through our online system or through phone, it is a commitment to purchase. We will try our best to accommodate an "after order” request, however Reptile Mart Inc. cannot guarantee and has no responsibility for being able to modify or cancel any order.

For order that is paid by email money transfer (EMT) and would like it to be cancel - we will refund the order by email money transfer (EMT), however the email money transfer (EMT) transaction fee will be deducted from the total refund amount. A re-stocking fee of 15% will apply once the order has already been packed.

PROVIDING CORRECT ADDRESS INFORMATION

It is important for you to ensure that a correct and complete address information has been provided. Any type of incorrect information given such as wrong street number, postal code, missing suite or apartment number will cause your package to be undelivered or dislocated. Please noted, shipping charges for an address correction fee will be billed to you and an invoice via email will be sent if these charges have been applied. In addition, we cannot be responsible for making any claims on your behalf with the shipping company if you make special requests such as to leave your package in a specific location either at your address or at your neighbours.

1. Glass Products
We do recommend you to arrange insurance on your own if required, as no carriers will insure glass items. Reptile Mart Inc. is not responsible for damage to any glass products such as but not limited to aquariums/terrariums/lamps/lightings damaged in shipment. Glass products that have been used are not returnable under any circumstances.  

2. Canada Post (regular parcel service)
As there is no insurance provided by this service, Reptile Mart Inc. is not responsible to file claims should you choose this service, all claims will be denied. We do recommend to choose Expedited Parcel Service.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF CANADA

We try our best to keep track of different state's up to date purchasing procedures, but we strongly recommend you to check your state policies before finalizing any purchase. Please note that Reptile Mart Inc. is not responsible for any custom issues once the product is shipped.
